Operation
- Select Scaling Tip: Choose an appropriate scaling tip for your procedure and securely attach it to the handpiece using a torque wrench
- Normal Frequency Use: Under normal working conditions with 45 scaling tips, apply light pressure and a gentle to-and-fro motion to effectively remove tartar without generating excessive heat. Avoid overexertion or prolonged contact
- Adjust Vibration Intensity: Set the vibration intensity by turning the knob; a middle setting is generally recommended. Adjust according to patient sensitivity and tartar rigidity during treatment
- Water Volume Adjustment: Activate the foot switch to begin tip vibration, then adjust the water control switch to achieve a fine spray for cooling the handpiece and cleaning teeth
- Handpiece Handling: Hold the handpiece as you would a pen, ensuring comfortable maneuverability
Safety Precautions
- Avoid Vertical Contact: Do not allow the tip’s end to touch teeth vertically, and avoid excessive pressure on tooth surfaces to prevent damage to both teeth and tips
