Absorbable surgical suture U.S.P (Synthetic) VICRYL™ Plus antibacterial with triclosan sterilised surgical needled suture (Braided coated polyglactin 910 violet).

Coated VICRYL™ Plus Antibacterial Suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, except for ophthalmic, cardiovascular and neurological tissues.

1. Absorbable: Vicryl Plus is an absorbable suture, meaning it is gradually broken down and absorbed by the body over time.
2. Polyglactin 910: The suture material is made of polyglactin 910, which is a copolymer of glycolide and lactide.
3. Braided Structure: The braided structure provides strength and flexibility, making it suitable for a variety of surgical procedures.
4. Coated: Vicryl Plus sutures may have a coating to enhance their performance, reduce tissue drag, and improve knot security.
5. Tensile Strength: 75% retention at 14 days, 50% retention at 21 days, 25% retention at 28 days

Sutures should be selected and implanted depending on patient condition, surgical experience, surgical technique and wound size.

Do not resterilize/reuse. Reuse of this device (or portions of this device) may create a risk of product degradation, which may result in device failure and/or cross-contamination, which may lead to infection or transmission of blood-borne pathogens to patients and users.
